SOCIAL-COINED AFRICA is a marketplace where creators sell premium videos and viewers pay once to unlock them. This page explains what we store and why.

What we collect

• Your email address and password, handled by our authentication provider.
• Your name, username, phone number and short bio, if you fill them in.
• Videos, posters and trailers you upload, and the price you set.
• Payment records: amount, currency, method, provider reference and status. We never see or store your Mobile Money PIN, bank login or card number.
• Basic usage events such as video views, trailer plays and unlocks.

Who we share with

Payments are processed by our licensed payment processors (MTN and Airtel Mobile Money, card and bank). Receipt text messages are sent through a licensed SMS provider. Creators see the sales of their own videos, never your contact details beyond what a payment requires.

Paid videos

Paid video files are stored privately and play only through short-lived private links issued after we confirm your purchase. Your account name is stamped over the picture to discourage re-recording and sharing.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. That removes your login, profile, notifications and any uploads nobody has bought. Videos other people already paid for are taken off sale but kept so buyers keep what they paid for, and payment records are kept for accounting and tax purposes. Withdraw any remaining balance before deleting.

SOCIAL-COINED AFRICA is for people aged 18 and over.
